The Baby Sling

The baby sling is one of humankind's oldest tool. The beauty of a baby sling is that you stay in direct contact with your baby where ever you go for constant bonding and comforting. It is usually used during the age that your baby is breast feeding.

A baby sling is very easy to use and very comfortable to wear and will soothe your baby while you have the hands free to do things. Having close contact with mom's body, the baby will grow emotionally strong and confident. A baby carried in a sling will not experience loneliness and fear of loss, but will develop to be a happy child. A baby in a baby sling is much quieter and can breathe in a more relaxed way.

A baby sling is made of fine fabric and is constructed with care. A sash-style sling goes over one shoulder and across to the opposite hip. There are baby slings that are adjustable and some that are not adjustable and sized to fit the adult who will be carrying the child.
