What a healthy body needs ... A rebuttal on the foolish idea that we can "drink too much water."
I don't know what kind of blarney they teach in grade school now, but in
the 1940's we learned in biology class that our bodies are made up of water
and minerals. Now it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that if
that's what the body is made of, that's what we will have to keep putting
in it, for that same body to survive. So, if you're really interested in
good health, (and I realize that many of you really aren't) read on.
A HEALTHY human body is comprised of trillions of cells which are
themselves composed of (in some semblance of their order of importance)
water, minerals, trace minerals, amino acids, enzymes, vitamins, bacteria,
etc-- held together in a slightly alkaline environment by electrical
energy. Indeed, a healthy body is also a "storehouse" for all the above,
providing the "raw materials" with which it replaces cells that are
constantly dying in "the natural order of all living things."
A HEALTHY body is the cumulative result of having constantly ingested
nutritious food that contains the minerals, trace minerals, etc. that
provide the "building blocks" of healthy cell reproduction, AND clean, pure
water. The interior "environment" of a healthy body is slightly alkaline,
while that of an unhealthy body is acidic. (Well, not REALLY acid, but
actually LESS ALKALINE.) If your blood actually became acidic, you would die.
A healthy body is rich in oxygen, its electrical frequency is high, the
cells are well supplied with water, the red blood cells are well-rounded
and free to move around individually like marbles in a shoe box, while an
unhealthy body is low in oxygen, the electrical frequency is low, the cells
are depleted of water, and the red blood cells are wrinkled and clumped
together like they have been covered with molasses.
A healthy body is controlled by the brain, which is constantly receiving
and sending information via the central nervous system, through a
"pipeline" starting at the base of the brain, running down the brain-stem
and branching out to the vital organs, giving instructions to the immune
system, such as where to send T-cells and "killer cells," via the
bloodstream, to intercept and kill "foreign invaders" such as the "germs"
that are the cause of "diseases," and following up by dispatching
macrophages which clean up the debris which is left from this battle.
This "clean-up crew" needs a lot of water to help it break loose and flush
away this still dangerous "fallout," which if not flushed on out of the
body, (via the urine, feces, mucus and perspiration) will cause major
contamination. (More "disease") And the body needs a lot of water to
facilitate this "flushing."
The cells of a HEALTHY human body are NOT constantly being bombarded and
polluted with such things as nicotine, caffeine, alcohol, "pain-killer"
drugs and other addictive poisons. Nor is this healthy body being
constantly "overdosed" with poisonous, non-nutritious, fattening, tasty,
cheap and convenient, cooked, preserved, processed, canned and/or
pasteurized GARBAGE.
An UNHEALTHY human body is the result of having been constantly deprived of
the proper amount of water, minerals, trace minerals, amino acids, enzymes,
vitamins, beneficial bacteria, etc., which has allowed the body to be taken
over by millions of foreign invaders, such as harmful bacteria, virus,
fungi and parasites, through a lack of knowledge about "what makes the
train go," and/or the lack of common sense to put that information to use
when it becomes available.
This UNHEALTHY body IS being constantly (and willingly) bombarded and
overwhelmed by the introduction of such poisons as nicotine, caffeine,
alcohol, "pain-killer" drugs, the wrong food, and other ADDICTIVE poisons.
Also, the "diet" of this unhealthy person is such that it actually FEEDS
and nourishes the harmful bacteria, fungus and parasites in the colon and
bloodstream, keeping them alive and giving them the strength to cause
further damage to the immune system and vital organs -- and in many cases,
the unhealthy body has been subjected to stress, (worry, fear, doubt) which
throws the whole nervous system and the body's digestive system into a
state of confusion and disorder.
A healthy human body is capable of REMAINING healthy if we don't keeping
throwing it off the track with the desire for instant gratification such as
becoming addicted to harmful (but tasty) food and drink. However, from
childhood we've been lied to about what's "good for us," and have developed
eating habits that have thrown our digestive and metabolic processes out of
kilter.
Food for thought -- Your health is NOT important to the food
producers. They're interested only in sales and long shelf life, which
equates to more profit.
Pharmaceutical companies don't want you to be healthy. Their livelihood
depends upon your continued need for their drugs. If you're not sick, you
won't buy their drugs.
And if those big "charitable organizations" were more interested in finding
"cures" than they are of "keeping the money coming in," we would already
have a "cure" for most of our health problems. If that doesn't tell you
something, you need a LOT of help. (Actually, they already KNOW that the
answer is "prevention," but that doesn't put money in the pot.)
You don't NEED a cure for something, if you eliminate the cause, so that
you won't contract that disease in the first place. Which is better? Take
an aspirin to alleviate the pain of constantly hitting yourself on the head
with a hammer, or STOP HITTING YOURSELF ON THE HEAD WITH THE DANG HAMMER?
Folks, our taste buds, pocketbooks, and deceptive advertising are ruling
(and ruining) our lives. And this "foolish life-style" is the cause of
most of our health problems. The big corporations are interested in profit
only. They care nothing about our health.
Man-made vitamins are not the answer either, because our bodies won't
absorb them. Besides, the main function of vitamins is to help us absorb
minerals, and if there are no minerals in the food -- vitamins are
virtually useless. There are a few exceptions, such as vitamin C and E.
And there is no "wonder drug" answer. Drugs are only for pain and
symptoms... not causes.
Weight loss programs don't work, because they also attack the symptom, not
the problem. And if any weight is lost, it's usually muscle and not
fat. And the weight comes right back when that person returns to the "hog
trough."
We're our own worst enemy because we believe all the ads, and eat all the
wrong things. But the answers are simple and inexpensive, if we stop
believing all those lies and use a little common sense. And unless we take
steps to change our own life-style, and break old destructive habits, our
health and weight problems will continue.
In fact, the answers are too simple and easy for most people to
believe. Here is the most effective, easiest to implement, and least
expensive of the "list of common sense methods of achieving good health."
The first thing every morning, drink at LEAST 20 to 30 ounces of distilled,
filtered, reverse osmosis, or spring water. NOT tap water -- and NOT ice
cold. Ideally, it should be body temperature, but we've been conditioned
to think that drinking water should be liquid ice. So leave out the ice
and learn to drink it lukewarm. If you THINK about it, it'll make
sense. Go straight to the kitchen every morning and drink at least 20
ounces of water, and then go do your "morning ritual." When you get back
to the kitchen, your stomach will be empty again, so drink the same amount
again.
That's the best thing you can do for your digestive system and basic
health. Pure water will be released from an otherwise empty stomach just
as soon as it warms to body temperature. Remember, try to drink as much
water as you can on an EMPTY stomach. That also means that you shouldn't
drink water (or anything else) with your meals.
How much water should you drink? Half your weight, converted to
ounces. If you weight 200 pounds, you should drink 100 ounces of water DAILY.
Don't drink coffee, alcohol, soft drinks, milk, or plain tap
water. They're ALL harmful. (Hey, don't just give me a "knee-jerk"
reaction. Stop listening to the ads and do some REAL research.)
We can be slaves to our taste buds and suffer, or we can know the truth --
put it to use -- and be healthy. Your health and your weight are your
responsibility, but you must stop listening to the wrong people and ALL
advertising. It's YOUR life. Don't let someone else make your decisions
for you.
