What To Do With Athlete's Foot and Fungal Infection?

Lustrous Nails

Athlete's foot is a fungal infection of the skin that thrives in the warm moist environment to which many feet are subjected.

The best remedy is to keep feet cool and dry. Avoid wearing tight-fitting shoes or heavy socks. Instead wear sandals, and socks woven from a light, breathable, natural fabric.

It is especially important to control this fungus infection when taking a foot bath, and when showering and bathing. The moist, warm environment favors the growth of the Tinea fungus culture responsible for athlete's foot.

Use anti-fungal essential oils such as melaleuca to create a mild, anti-fungal bath or shower for your Athlete's foot. There is a shower head available which can hold bath salts and essential oils which are gently released for a therapeutic shower.

For Athlete's foot and fungal infection, use essential oils such as melaleuca alternifolia, white fir, lavender and peppermint. Try the following Athlete's foot recipes:

Athlete's Foot (Fungus) Recipe 1:

  • 4 drops melaleuca
  • 1 drop lavender

Athlete's Foot (Fungus) Recipe 2:

  • 11 drops geranium
  • 6 drops myrrh
  • 13 drops melaleuca
  • 6 drops patchouly
Use undiluted or mix in 1 tablespoon mixing oil or massage oil base. Apply to infected areas between toes and around toenails. These Oils can also be added to bath salts and used in the shower with a specially designed shower head (RainSpa) that can hold salt and oils.

After showering or bathing, dry your feet thoroughly, especially in the spaces between the toes. You can use a hairdryer to get your toes try.

After washing and drying the feet, apply anti-fungal essential oils to toes, toenails and in the spaces between the toes. To finish your fungal nail treatment, apply a rich ointment or massage oil to seal in the essential oils.

There are also precious bar soaps enriched with essential oils available, e.g., cedarwood bar soap, lavender or peppermint bar soap. Athlete's foot and fungal nail infection can be remedied the kind and healthy way with proven effective anti-fungal essential oils, without harmful intervention.

Don't buy just any oils which are often adulterated and mixed with carcinogenic ingredients like propylene glycol! Look only for therapeutic-grade essential oils to use on your Athlete's Foot and for your fungal nail infection.
