Beat The Summer Heat With Lavender and Peppermint Essential Oils.
Beat the summer heat with Young Living’s therapeutic-grade essential oils. Only use therapeutic-grade essential oils. Keep in mind that pure, quality essential oils are vital for the safety and effectiveness of the oils you use.
Many essential oils claim that they are 100% pure, but will also say that they are not for internal consumption or cannot be used directly on the skin. Many Young Living essential oils are intended for internal use (see GRAS list) and all of our oils are guaranteed therapeutic-grade.
Lavender and Peppermint
Lavender and Peppermint are versatile oils, that you will use every day. Lavender essential oil can help your body adapt to stress, while Peppermint essential oil can assist you in relieving tension naturally.
Put a drop of Peppermint essential oil on back of your neck and at the bottom of your feet to cool off this summer. You can use this oil even when you have a sensitive skin. Just dilute Peppermint or Lavender essential oils and apply with a small amount of carrier oil like V6 Massage Oil, olive or almond oil. You can also have a moist cloth with a drop of either oil to place at the back of your neck.
You can also use essential oils to feel a sense of coolness inside your car to uplift you and keep you more alert while driving. Just simply diffuse peppermint inside your car by putting a few drops of oil into a cotton ball or tissue. Then, place the cotton ball in the air vent of your dashboard. Or use the Young Living car diffuser! You can also use Lavender because its scent will help you ease the stress of traffic while you are driving. Using Lavender will also support a better concentration while driving.
Enjoy a cooling drink this summer: Water with peppermint essential oil. Evenly blend in the peppermint oil by putting one to two drops in a teaspoon of agave syrup or honey and then add the mixture into your drinking water.
Hot temperature invites ants and other pests into your home. Avoid them and send them back outside by putting a few drops of peppermint essential oil in their tracks. You can also apply lavender and peppermint essential oils to your skin to soothe mosquito bites. This will help reduce the itching.
