Uses of Lime Essential Oil
There are so many uses of Young Living’s Lime essential oil. We can use it aromatically, topically, and we can also take it internally. Along with these wide variety of uses are lots of benefits from this oil. Lime essential oil has an invigorating pleasant citrus scent that when used aromatically may help promote mental clarity and may also encourage creativity. Lime may reduce dark spots due to aging providing antioxidants to the skin when used topically. It also acts as an insect deterrent. This essential oil may help support a healthy digestive system and can be a good aid in weight management when taken internally.
However, the use of Lime in cooking is one of the most versatile uses of this essential oil. But because it’s so highly concentrated, we must keep in mind to start by adding only half of a drop of Lime to a recipe. This should also be done with any other Young Living essential oils that are used for cooking. It is safe to use a toothpick when adding oil to the recipe, just put a toothpick inside the bottle and then add more oil to taste.
